What You Can Expect…

DSProfessional Workshop

The DSProfessional Development Workshop is open to all potential new members, regardless if an application is submitted or not. This event will take place before Professional Interviews begin. This event showcases all of the professional opportunities that a recruit will have access to as a brother of Delta Sigma Pi. In addition to interview help and resume review, potential new members will also be able to talk to brothers about major-specific career path opportunities, case competitions, networking opportunities, leadership opportunities within the chapter, talk with faculty inits, and learn about the national benefits/partnerships of Delta Sigma Pi.

Professional Interviews

Professional Interviews make up the first half of Delta Sigma Pi’s official recruitment schedule. During this 30-minute interview, you can expect to be interviewed by three of our brothers, who will be asking you a series of behavioral questions about leadership, prioritization, drive, and collaboration. You will also be asked to answer this year’s prompt, which you may prepare in advance.

This event is mandatory. If you are unable to attend, please contact the Senior Vice President (Josephine Timperman; timperja@miamioh.edu) and we will do our best to accommodate your schedule. The dress code for this event is business professional. Please also bring 3 copies of your resume to your Professional Interview session. Additional information to follow via email once application has been submitted.

Meet The Members

Meet the Members (MTM) is a three-night event that makes up the second half of Delta Sigma Pi’s official recruitment. The Senior Vice President will split up candidates alphabetically between the first two nights to ensure that each candidate can talk to brothers one-on-one. If you are unable to attend your assigned night, please reach out to the SVP (Josep; timperja@miamioh.edu) and we will do our best to accommodate your schedule.

All candidates will be welcomed back to attend the third and final night of MTM. Attending the third night is optional, yet highly encouraged so that you may meet as many brothers as possible. MTM is beloved by our brothers because it is an opportunity to get to know you on a more personal level! The dress code for this event is business casual.

On behalf of all my fellow brothers - welcome! We are so excited to introduce you to Delta Sigma Pi!

As an organization made of brothers with many different backgrounds, personal passions, and career interests, we each excitedly anticipate the endless possibilities ahead of us. Step by step, these possibilities increasingly become a reality thanks to the foundation that Delta Sigma Pi builds below us from day one.

Throughout our recruitment process, we hope that you will see how our brotherhood has molded well-rounded individuals that go on to shape each environment they impact in their lives – both professionally and personally. We encourage you to be 100% yourself and to comfortably communicate how our brotherhood can uplift whatever lies ahead of you.

Develop Someone Professional. Discover Somewhere Purposeful. Do Something Powerful. The possibilities are endless. Allow Delta Sigma Pi to make the most of yours.

If you have any questions about the recruitment process or our chapter, please do not hesitate to reach out via email at timperja@miamioh.edu

Best Regards,
Josephine Timperman, SVP
